During November, law enforcement officers who donated a minimum of $25 to Beards for Bucks were allowed to grow facial hair. In December, officers continued the program into Beard for Brothers to collect money for the Manny Ortiz Fund.

More than 200 Locust Club members and 250 other officers from Brighton, Brockport, East Rochester, Fairport, Gates, Geneva, Greece, Monroe County Sheriff’s, Ogden, Ontario County Sheriff’s, Irondequoit and Webster Police participated in “Cops Against Cancer” this year.

They collected $11,775 for 13Thirty Cancer Connect and $13,500 for the Manny Ortiz Fund. Goin’ Bald for Bucks is still collecting donations.
