RPD Officer Shot in the Face

Thursday, June 29, 2017 - 9:30am

The Rochester police officer shot in the face Saturday night has been up and out of bed and joking around with his comrades as he recovers.

Jeremy Nash is in Rochester General Hospital. Some friends from the Locust Club Police Union talked with him on Monday.

Nash was shot on North Street late Saturday night as he was driving through in a police car. He was hit with a shotgun blast that sprayed pellets into his face and his left arm. His doctors and his family are very concerned about his left eye, but the eye is apparently coming along.

He has also been getting up out of bed and walking around, and giving and getting grief from the parade of police coming to visit him.
